Many people do not know about the Michael that I love so.
He wakes with a smile on his face.
The fans outside hold on for their lives,
for a chance to glance at his beauty and love.
They will wave their hands and the shirts they buy
to let him know that they are alive.
Quickly he signs autographs
and disappears back to his private world.
They will wait outside until the late night hours
hoping to get an invitation.
Guards will turn them away.
Michael will then say,
"I'm tired of living locked up behind gates."
then he will run outside and walk the streets
only to return disappointed and sad,
for all he wanted to do
was to only meet a stranger who did not know of him
but to only understand about his loneliness.

Michael is sincerely an honest man.
He loves fantasy and most of all children.
One day I shook his hand
and told him how much I cared for him.
He gave a smile and ducked his head
as if he did not believe that I needed him as my friend.
I replied, "In time Michael, you will know that I care about you."
I want to share this very special time with you.
You are my best friend.
Michael Jackson's timely love
is when he laughs and forgets about the world outside.
Especially those whom want to attack and hurt his pride.
To this day, I do not know
if Michael Jackson's timely love will show.

True friends are me and you.
True friends stay together as glued.
True friends always care
and share their feelings through all the years.
"Can I tell you something?"
"Sure," you will say,
"I need a true friend to talk to today."

What do you do when you can finally say,
"I'm on my own."?
Do you know where to go?
Sometimes life can be scary,
yet sometimes fun,
but when you say,
"I'm on my own,"
you really are.
People steal, people lie,
everyday people die.
When you are on your own,
you have no choice but to challenge life,
take it in pride and show no strife.
To fight would be to lose the battle.
To win the battle would mean to fight another war.
To win in life is to live another day.
In my own way,
I'm on my own.

When you have a friend and they give you advice when you need it,
do they really understand how you feel?
Once, I had a friend whom I could talk to whenever I wanted to.
That friend would listen and would tell me how he felt.
When I cried, that friend was there.
When I felt like dreaming, my friend dreamed with me.
Understanding is the best part of life
when you have a friend who understands your feelings.

A poet must write the way that they feel.
They must accomplish good deeds so that others will be cheered.
The pains and experiences written can be as advice.
Therefore, the quests for attention
are not really meant to be praised by others.
When I once loved a man,
he was everything that I could have dreamed of.
Yet, when the time comes
when you must depart from each other
you must live separate lives.
do not live for the past,
live for the future.
Many times I wanted to write
and communicate with him, but what for?
The past love and life should remain so,
for when you try to relive it,
it only disappoints you.
Nothing can be recreated,
nothing remains the same.
Feelings tend to change in their own ways.

How can I write about a man I do not know?
A man I have never met,
much less, know much about.
His face is inviting,
his voice so delighting!
Yet, I do not know this man called Jackie.

I'm waiting for the moment to arrive
when we won't have to say goodbye.
Michael, I'm waiting for you to trust me as your friend.
I don't want public adulation.
I don't want your fortunes,
neither your fame, for you deserve it all and much more,
except for the press that causes excessive pain.
I don't view you as a singer,
I don't view you as an entertainer,
all I see in you is a man
who has made me feel good inside about myself.
You have changed my life.
I'm waiting for the day to arrive
when you will open your gates to me and say,
"Come inside."
I care about how you feel
and about what you go through every single year.
I understand much of your pain,
although I have never lived it exactly as you.
Yes, I understand.
Is there something that I could do for you,
to make you feel so good inside like you do for me?
For years, I have waited to hold you in my arms and cry with you.
You can lean on my shoulders and pour out your heart to me.
I will listen I will help you through if I can.
Our friendship could be a secret Michael, I understand.
The press, the cruel public, the lies.
Oh, will they not ever try to understand
you are my friend and have been for years.
Your pictures have hung on my walls,
your books by the bed in which I lay.
I want to take away all of the loneliness and pain from you,
as you have done for me Michael. As you have done for me.

Michael, are you surviving the pain?
The link between me and you is known to many.
I know you feel like dying inside,
I also have cried so hard and long that I could not breathe.
I felt as though I would die inside.
Then the next thing I knew,
I looked up towards your soft eyes
and saw the smile in which I needed.
It took some time, maybe a few minutes,
but you made me laugh and eventually
I forgto about the pain in which I once knew.
I am surviving the pain, and so can you.

The music, the dancers, the moves,
the fun and excitement of the grooves.
The cables, the lines, the producers,
all together to do one thing,
to make a highly explosive film
that will overwhelm the fans.
The crowds, the lines, the cash flow,
all making short tempers
from waiting too long to see
the music, the dancers, the moves.

I know of one man, a man I hold so dear and true.
He does not know me, but maybe one day.
that man is mine is when I need a friend.
His name you should know
because that man is mine everyday that I live.
His name is Michael, he is my best friend.

Could the luckiest man in the world be you?
Does life make you happy at all the things you do?
My life of having known you is rather encouraging.
I live everyday to its fullest.
The luckiest man in the world
is a man who knows that he is loved.

There are loves that never die.
They are the kinds in which many dream of,
but do not experience.
I have often wondered about a special kind of love.
Then I wonder, if it will give me a chance to strive to be the best.
A love that never dies is a friendship.
Illusions are things that a person works for,
although many times those illusions never come true.
The love that never dies is the closeness between two people.

When does departure time come?
When all your friends leave,
does it mean that you will never see them again?
If for some reason you meet again,
do you wish that you had not tried to relive the past?
Maybe the departures that you experience are for the best.

I once had a friend who I could share
my deepest secrets and feelings with.
He told me his and together we knit
a close love for each other.
I once had a friend,
a friend I will never forget.
I have looked long and hard
hoping that one day
we would be able to see each other.
It has been a while now since he lied to me.
Not once did I tell a lie to him,
not once did I ever quit loving him.
He said, "I love you
and you are the princess of my dreams.
I will always be here for you."
Oh what a lie that never did die.
It still stands clear within my mind.
"How are you doing? Fine, I hope.
Just wrote to let you know that I love you."
Quotes he made that never did fade.
They will stay in my mind,
probably until I die.
A friend I will never forget
was once the man that I loved so true.
In my own words,
"I still love and care about you."

I am watching you and the things you do.
I am watching you and the things you say.
Everyday I live by your rules,
your thoughts, your dreams.
While watching you,
I realized that you were the person
who changed and made a difference in my life.
You were the one whom kept me alive.
When I sing your songs
and read your words as the hours go on.
I would just like to say that you make me happy.
You talked to me when I needed someone
to give encouragement at a time
when I thought life was gone.
I believe with all of my heart
that I need you as my special friend.
Someone who will enjoy being with me
when they need someone to say, "I'm watching you."

There is a man whom I love so dear.
He holds me close, so very near.
His eyes are tender, his words so sweet.
And when he whispers,
he talks so plain that I understand
the feelings within his heart.
He cries when I am not around,
but at that very moment wherever I aa at,
I sense his sadness and cry also.
He was the first whom
I found love and comfort with.
He dried my eyes, held back many tears,
when I felt alone he always came near.
He held out his arms and kissed my cheek,
then told me how much he loved me
and made me feel good again
when I cried and could not speak.
There are no words to describe my love for him,
for truth comes not in words,
but in feelings that one shares.

The people you do not know
have feelings within themselves.
They laugh when you laugh,
they cry when you cry.
They will die when you die.
I speak not of sadness,
neither of grief or joy,
but of the people who love and admire
the love you show.
On behalf of others I speak.
We thank you so greatly
for the things that you have done.
The money we give
is just about our only way of paying you back.
Money to me is just paper that can be burned or stolen.
Instead, I like to give to you by time or thanks
from the heart as many others do,
especially when they say, "Michael Jackson, we love you."
They really mean it many times,
yet many do not know you
like the people who hold you so close
to their hearts and in their minds.

even when the world shuns me,

I am always yours and have been since we first met.
It started with a simple conversation one day.
You smiled and then we exchanged phone numbers and fell in love.
That is when you told me, "I'm always yours."

A love that holds together is an eternal love.
A love that is soft and delicate is an eternal love.
Eternal love is when the person you love understands you.
Eternal love is on the inside and not anywhere else.

I believe that there is a type of power in dreams.
Like when you have one dream,
then you start believing in it.
Before you know it,
you then live you life in a way
that causes you to start living the dream.
Plans, hopes, and dreams,
there must be something to dreams
when in life we dream and succeed.

Gangs fight to live, they fight for a place in society,
yet a day comes when they must once again stand to protect their territory.
The right to survive and the wrong to apologize or die.
The leaders of the gangs normally fight to make the other pay.
It is all in survival when life itself overturns a gang's life.
A new leader is chosen
then it is again spoken of the gang who fought for all in survival.

I once dreamed of a day
when you would say,
"I love you."
You know, a time
to become well acquainted
with each other
and laugh at the jokes you make.
I'll give you the whole world
if you'll always give me
the friendship and love
that I need the most.
At a time when others
don't believe in what I do, say,
write or think,
I need you to say,
"It's okay, I'm here for you."
I'll do the same for you too, you know.
That's just the type of person I am, you know.
I understand.

In love you'll find the right kind of time,
the right day and people who say,
"Congratulations!"
"In the right kind of love," you say,
"is a friend who will be there through every despair,
like when I was there for you not long ago."
In love you'll find particularly
everything you need to be happy and to succeed.
