The most special thing in the world
is to hold you in my arms.
To feel you so close to me
while knowing that our bonds
for each other is something special.
How can it be that so many love and lose
when both of us know
that in each of our souls
is something special?

I would do anything for you to make you happy or make you smile.
When you often hold my hand, I smile so tenderly you say,
but there are so many things that I will do for you to see you happy one day.
With this love so deep and true, I would do anything for you.
I would cross the deepest waters, I would climb the highest peaks,
but if you ever seek to love, I would do anything for you.

I heard a voice crying, sobs echoing in a room.
A young man not much older than I,
had so much tension, heartache, and pressure built up inside.
Everyone becomes motionless here,
to let him cry those silent and well heard tears.
He has the same fears as me,
but he makes things seem as though it is done effortlessly.
He cries because it's so hard to make friends,
and I cry because I wish that I could be with him.
I wish I could stop some of those tears
and many of those unknown fears.
To let him know he's not alone,
that there are people out here who love him so.
Many who are indeed unknown.
It's true that when a man's pain and hurt is found
there are many of those who display it all around,
but I want you to remember that I feel your tears too
and it's and endless cycle of crying never stopped.
I may not be able to stop the pain
but in this life you have so much to gain.
To meet new people and find new friends.
Many out here just waiting for the right chance.
But even if you never shed another tear,
there would always be someone else here,
someone not too far away who would in some way
do the same, unintentionally create crying never stopped.

We will always be friends.
I will always love you no matter where or when.
When we were together we had so much fun,
but both of us realized that we can only be friends.
The love we shared, it will always be there,
but I hope you will be able to find another love elsewhere.
This doesn't mean that we have to be ripped apart
for I will always love you, always no matter what.
No, I don't mean loneliness.
I don't like to cry but now I have a brand new life.
Don't turn your back on me,
for it was you who asked me to decide what was right for me.
I'm not putting any blame on you for we both sort of lost ourselves.
I know you were used and abused by many people
but I will always be your friend. I love you always.

You and I almost fell in love.
We almost began our lives together.
What happened?
What tore us apart?
did we actually know right from the start
that it would never be?
I had hoped that I had dreamed
that our lives would merely be perfect,
that our love would always be.
All I can say is that our friendship is ever so true.
I hope that in reality,
I won't almost lose you.
If life is a fantasy,
and reality is a dream,
I know for sure one day,
soon we will almost always share
our friendship and special memories
of what we almost lost and believed.

Picking up my touch tone phone,
I dialed a number for me alone.
I wait for a few seconds and then you speak,
knowing you'll say, "I love you"
without a second blink.
You sigh a deep relief.
Both of us say a few words,
motion some wonderful thoughts
and then laugh over many of our simple faults.
Then for no reason, I cry.
Waiting for your sympathetic sigh.
Heart felt sympathy,
you say a few words to relieve me.
Tender feelings I do release,
hoping to catch you again like a falling leaf.
Stirring up old memories,
we both smile and realize
that we're not so far away after all.

I've spent special hours in the sunshine.
Many times, I've heard a distant laughter,
a laughter of people together.
Each in their own ways having fun together.
Those special hours I spend with you recalling memories.
I remember when we first met,
those wonderful times, I'll never forget.
Sparkling diamonds, skin so very smooth.
Sitting underneath trees,
drawing pictures of you and of me.
Figuring out our mistakes,
why hearts may so easily break.
Many times not discovering why
you're my very special guy in these special hours.

A dangerous friend will use you time and time again.
It doesn't matter because a dangerous friend will talk behind your back
and smile in your face to see how you may react.
It's hard to tell anyone about your joys or happiness,
especially when they lie or enjoy watching a wonderful friendship die.
To put your trust and faith in them
is to kill your identity of who you may or could have been.

As a shy child gives a slight smile,
he dances in a quick and energetic style.
the applause from several family members and friends,
are each in their own way molding him.
He sings a few songs then walks off the stage,
then everyone holds and hugs him for the small gift that he gave.
Everyday he practices and rehearses
in hopes of one day living in a big castle.
His dreams, his hopes, his ambitions are so big, so incredible.
Deprived of a small childhood dream,
of being with the neighborhood kids
and doing what a normal childhood brings.
Toys, laughter, playing around,
going out to the park, playing baseball on the playgrounds.
"What's it like to be so free,
able to go out and play all of those wonderful things?"
he asks himself half sad, half smiles.
One day the opportunity comes before this child.
His family members all look up to him,
each in their own way acknowledging him as an incredible child.

Treasures hundreds of miles away.
Wishing to live your moments practically everyday.
So many times, I wish that I could hold you close to me
and for you to listen to my treasured moments
of what you really mean to me.
Today, I sit and stare at closed walls
wishing that I could see you giving Liz away,
especially on her wedding day.
When practically at this very moment
you're probably entertaining your guests in a very unique way.

My love for you is of pure devotion and truth.
All the world I would give to hold your hand,
pull you close and tell you time and time again of my love for you.
Always, I will be a friend to you and be there for you
when you need me the most.
For many times, I realize that I need you as well.
You've brought pleasure and joy into my life
when I needed it the most.

you just may wind up in jeopardy any way.

No matter how much I've tried,
I've either failed or paid a price.

Wasted future, wasted lives,
always hoping for a friend,
yet never really knowing where or when
life can take you anywhere
on a roller coaster of ups and downs.
Always feeling out of control,
never quite feeling of leading a role.
You said that it would take time to heal,
finding a way to cover mistakes.
Just another one of your love lines.
Come and be my friend,
we'll build a future and start again.
No, it doesn't really matter,
you'll never really know
if it's just another love line
sending you somewhere else to go.

Guide and direct me, show me the way.
Lead and protect me with honesty and truth,
showing all compassion, leaving love behind.
Footsteps so wonderfully guiding
too much a successful life.
Of all the ambitions that there are to do,
I know you will always stand behind me
and encourage others as well to find the new life.
Afraid of changes, afraid of the unknown,
unsure of advice given from strangers

I am going to find a new direction,
a way to change my life,
all in a new position maybe never quite really knowing why.

knowing you had left me here
waiting for my heart to slowly die.
Softly, without condition,
you broke my emotions from all positions.

so very much like a child.
