I got my first radio at about nineteen (19) years of age.
Yes, I had to wait a long time to be on my own.
Caught up in a prison of my parent's home,
couldn't go anywhere, no not even across the road.
No dates, no friends to really call my own.
Several of my friends in whom I so very much trusted
left me with mysteries of where they had gone.
To this day, I still don't know.

Have you not the courage to stand and face the world.
to sit and cry in anguish, never facing your fears.
Counting all of the heartaches, of betrayals, of fraud, of feuds.
I'm not to be caught up in this madness, not to be left crying with you.
World of tears, of passion, of sadness and of joy.
I've long since found my identity, that I know, no one can destroy.

Feeling good with captivating passion,
I haven't had a chance to express my feelings
because it's alright to hurt once in a while.
With each precious moment I will still be holding on.
Trying not to let go of the precious you.
Yet, deep inside we both know the moment is coming.
So, I'll say to you,
"There's nothing we can do but feeling good.
I haven't had a chance to express my feelings

Why should I let an unknown stranger
penetrate into my world and create danger?
For so many years I have kept my life a secret.
Never letting anyone near who should try to keep it.
For almost half of my life,
I've been faithful to a man who doesn't know that I exist,
but yet I know that if he did, he would give me a kiss..

Within my heart is the sting of pain
but several years ago,
it wasn't that way.
Surrounded by decisions to make,
I have this choice of to give or to take.
If in one moment, pain I should find,
there will always be a magical place to hide.

Like a moment stopping in time,
there is this passion to feel divine.
I've found a notion of pure devotion
to always love and always keep.
To hold and love, to always keep.
to hold and love, to always be true,
each moment, each day, i will spend with you.
Capturing our emotions,
preserving them for time's sake.
All of the love I feel for you will never fade,
never break, always standing true for all time sake.
Within our souls we long to find
what helps us live, what helps us die.
However the lifestyle,
whatever the situation,
emotions are always there,
whether through good or bad
we will always feel them,
either crying from joy or pain
there's always something to gain.

Holding you so tenderly in my arms,
I can still remember those special moments
that motivated our living for so very long.
Even though our passion diminished
by heartache and by pain.
I've found myself to have understanding and forgiveness,
i still love you just the same.
It seems as though you've changed so fast,
now i'm not sure if you're the same man I feel in love with.
But one thing I know for sure,
I'm so happy for your new life
and whomever you may be in love with.
Constantly, we made so many memories,
feelings and things we can't deny.
Just remember that by living,
these are the things that we all want to have in life.
Feelings of passion, feelings of pain,
must we never forgive ourselves of our long ago mistakes?
To go on with our lives is the greatest fulfillment,
just to prove that we can deal with it.
I could go on and on time and time again,
but all that I ask is for you to remember
that it was you whom I once fell so much in love with.

Within lightning speed you placed this tear,
within my heart lies pain and fear.
Beyond the shadows,
at the brink of dusk,
my heart begins to mourn,
begins to crush.
So many times, I reached out to you
but those were the times in which you withdrew.
How can I trust someone when all they do is hurt,
say things, lie for their sake of being?
In moments and times for their short pleasures in life,
when all they'll really find is turmoil and strife.
Hold me, touch me, love me so dear,
that's all I've ever wanted.
Tell me why does a man's heart wander away?
Even though he may have life's treasures everyday.
Always seeking to find a new love so true,
yet knowing in reality he had it all along.
Tell me why.
Why must I be so lonely, why so much alone?
For so many years, that's all I have ever known.

We promised each other a beautiful romance,
tenderly holding the future in our hands.
We stayed together for a while,
then it came to reality,
we had nothing to give.
Then it rained and I was all alone,
oh, God, no.
This lonely life that I've always known.
An empty feeling no one can ever out grow.

When you think of me,
hold our memories close,
so near and tenderly.
When you think of me,
remember all of the times we shared
and of how I loved you so dearly.

I knew he had to have it,
a passion far beyond it,
with every motion still,
I knew he can never ever feel.
With his telepathy he will be able to see
a boundless creation
beyond recollection,
help him in his fear,
and deep depression.
Hold each moment still for his love I feel.
I know it's not a lie,
will always love until the moment when I die.
Nurturing the seed of admiration deep inside reality.
I feel each moment now.
Out there, I know there is a creator for every creation.

Entangled by confusion.
Trapped by emotions and fear,
caught up by this madness of people
and their mindless tears.
Within a web of silence remains hurt and pain,
there will never be a winner with such a love game.

Boundless clouds, boundless sky,
to the birds that fly high.
For all the freedom known,
a fearless love I've outgrown.
Reflect not on the depths of pain
for emotions have their highs and lows,
each in their own way.
Before you, lies two separate roads,
each leading in different directions.
One you must choose,
for either way you could win or lose.
Only a gamble,
only the fear will be your stumbling stone,
your loss, your tears.

Out of darkness you quenched my soul,
you built me up and made me whole.
Like a child left in the dark,
you took a gamble and stole my heart.
With hearts burning in the night,
you lit a fire with much delight.
Yet, out of darkness you'll hold me tight.
I'll cry a lot, you'll be the night.
Tenderly holding you in my arms,
you'll whisper secrets, sounding all alarms.
Quench the night with lots of love,
fill the dark sky with a beautiful white dove.
Out of darkness will come a cry,
I'll kiss your lips and say goodbye.

Truly, forever, I will be loyal and true.
To hold and be honest to you,
please touch me now.
Feeling with all truth.
I know the reason,
please love me now.

Can you count your mindless fears,
your boundless joys,
your hopes and tears.
I've but one notion,
to find a real life of true devotion.
Endless hopes, of things uninown,
one truth, one lie,
things that cause our faith to die.
Helpless void, endless space,
I so very much long to find that place.
For why do we search and never discover
for what we have been,
to be ourselves,
to find new friends.
The joys of life,
the memories of the future,
to abound in these things
we will from this day forward.

The magic of life,
the inner strength within,
the unknown,
the ambitions of achievements,
things we have to deal with.
Capture the moment,
capture the soul,
gather together the love
we soon shall behold.
Wait patiently for the moment,
wait patiently for the time.
I know one day you will soon be mine.
Love is within our hearts,
our soul, our mind,
be this of love,
it will soon be our time.

In a thousand words,
I can describe your remarkable beauty
and of how you are as an inspirational guy.
Picturesque beauty, boundless joy,
energetic wonders, a loving toy.
Memories of childhood, of loneliness, of being alone.
With you, I have always grown.
You've molded and made me whomever I am,
never giving up, never giving in.
Forever grateful to you always,
to pay you back for what you've given me,
that I wish I can.
Of generous time and effort,
fulfillment I can not describe,
you were always there for me both day and night.
Many times, I never wanted the night to end.
I always felft as though it was the happiest moment in my life.
Then as i began to research, to study, to read,
I soon discovered you were exactly like me!
When all along I had hoped and guessed
as to what you were like to love and just be with.
No it doesn't matter where or when,
for it will always seem like you are my closest friend.
How can I ignore all of the things you've bestowed,
you always made my heart glow and jump for joy.
My emotions we so gently wrapped in your arms,
yes, so many times you kept me safe and warm!
Tell me, how can I ever repay for such a debt,
for something so lovingly you simply just give away.
Without hate or harm you decided to hold me tenderly in your arms.
To possess and mold me, to master me as a charm.
And, yet while you succeeded and arose as a star.
I was still protected in your precious love and arms.

I wish I was there where you are in a picture,
for it to come to life for a while is my deepest desire.
So many times I feel your presence
as though you really are just a few feet, a few inches away.
But, I know I am unable to walk through the picture to hold you,
embrace you in my arms.
Only by imagination am I able to feel the cool breezes,
the smell of the ocean waves,
see the islands and mountains,
the birds, the sun, even the title of the book in which you read.
I may lean on the rail and gaze at the beauty of nature for a while,
then turn around towards you,
you may look up and smile.
You may hold me on your lap.
I'll wrap my arms around you
and we will talk for a long time.
But, I know it will seem like only minutes, seconds.
I have nothing to hide from you
because I really do love you.
Most definitely
you are the only true friend I've ever had.
For many people, if that were true
they would be sad and wanting people to say,
"I feel so sorry for you."
But, my heart is of a boundless joy,
my life fulfilled,
I've conquered the fall,
even the sadness of it all.
Many times, I can truly say you kept me alive
for many painful or ordinary days.
So even when I was so very much needing a friend.
Even when studying for tests at school,
or enjoying a good book to read.
Whenever I grew tired or felt a need or desire
you were always there for me to help me to succeed.
To go after the best, to achieve in life what others
may have thought hopeless.
Did you know that you have everything to do
with me being a poet?
When I first began no one believed in me,
but I had all of your inspiration to drive me on to succeed.
And once my project was well on it's notion,
I let those who didn't believe know it.
In total awe they stood near,
yet without a doubt, without a fear,
you were always there for me.
Even though you were so seemingly far away,
I could still feel your presence and your love right away.
People always laughed and scorned,
made fun of me each day,
but they didn't understand the passion I felt
to survive to beat their painful words
to be able to live my life.
Although shrouded in secrecy,
I made people guess who I was
and at that time who I really wanted to be.
They learned to connect me to my linking star,
in every way, they wanted to know who you really are.
My eyes glowed with passion for the love of a man
they all knew I was so very much in love with.
Yet, while I had to deal with the world at school,
I also had to withdraw at home and play a fool.
For me, school was a haven in which I could hide,
even though i was so famous,
I could at least be someone else for a while,
someone with whom I could identify.
At home, I had to be a child, to act so innocent and smile,
even with millions of tears just wanting to fall,
yes I had to hide them all.
I had to protect you in my arms,
build up a wall around us
so that we could be protected from the outside pain,
only there culd we have our privacy,
talk to each other and follow our dreams.
I've done so well, much more than I expected, thanks to you.
I no longer need to feel protected.
There are some things people can't understand,
because one in a million
have to deal with what I've had to deal with.
The anxiety, the depression, the soundless joys of life.
You were always there for me
even when I had no reason to live in life.
If I had to do it all again, I would need you,
that I can say is so very much true.
You've taught me to conquer the world,
to obtain the best, to stick it out in life,
to believe in success.
Even with hopeless joys or ambitions,
things thought unable to come true,
this wonderful lesson in life, I have learned from you.

The world is but a stepping stone,
a feature that we can acquire,
an object we can obtain.
Even when the world seems insane,
we can break away from the pain.
A violation of our securities,
someone please tell me where is my stepping stone?
This feeling in which I know the power that I now own.
Of God's creation, a world filled with fear,
please never shed a single tear.
Touch me, hold me in this moment now,
help me feel it somehow.
When I believe the world I've outgrown,
walk with me, help me to deal with it.
Make a gesture, touch the sky,
fly to the mountains without wings,
go so very high.
Reach, obtain, never look back.
Please tell me when you feel the shift in the wind.
Always believe, yes succeed,
this you must have time and time again.

For each moment now,
I hear your voice someway, somehow.
Through to my heart your love prevails,
this I know, I can not fail.
The voice of life, of inspiration,
I am unable to stop listening
to your wonderful love vibrations.
I'm hearing your voice calling me to you,
for each second that I'm alive
your sould abounds with me,
for you would never hurt or be rude to me.
Breathing a sigh of relief,
I'm listening to your beaconing call,
that the Lord Jesus could forgive us all.

I am the breeze that blows across your face.
I am a part of the ocean waves.
I am the sand upon the beach on which you stand,
the sea gulls that fly by, the ocean clams.
I am a friend in whom you can confide,
I am the love, I am the clown.
The object on which you lean upon,
the softness of the shirt you wear.
I am the glow in your eyes,
I am the tears you shed.
I am the thoughts that make you laugh and smile.
I am the beauty of the light
that glows on your face all the while.
Even things that make you sad,
but mostly of things that make you glad.
I am the moonlight the sun.
I am the clouds that seem to float by.
The rain water that comes from up high.
The rivers, the ponds, the ocean and it's mist.
Butterflies nearby, even your love and natural highs,
all the gentleness of this.
Soft feathers of a dove,
soaring like an eagle way up above.
Even that of your mother's love.
Kisses upon your cheek, the mercy,
the merry, the meek.
I am a living, nurturing grain of seed.
Friends you love the most,
the prison where you also have been.
The mirror you look into.
I am the spotlight, the stage,
the shoes you wear,
the dance you dance.
The hat you so often place on your heard.
The passion, the obsession of being free.
Yes! I am indeed all of these.

With many smiles and feelings from within,
your lingering love and compassion, I confide in.
Timeless hours, encouragement expressed.
I no longer have to wrestle with loneliness.
I no longer have to cry on my pillow
at night with tears on my face,
instead, I rejoice with life's delight.
The enjoyment of living revealed on your face.
I no longer have to hide in what I call my safe place.
For many years, I held hurt and secrets in,
the I looked upon your smiles
and I knew that everything was okay once again.

Upon the rock on which you stand,
a product of soul, a full-grown man.
With outstretched arms searching for perfection.
There is a goal in every direction
striving for the ultimate limit,
you reach for the stars, touch the planets.
With shadows of doubt your eyes are open,
but with the troubles of the world
placed upon your shoulders.
Yet, you are able to lift up every boulder.
Must we wrestle in anguish or desire,
pick up the pieces, live life much higher.
In the mire, in the mirth,
on the planet of this earth.
To be sold, to be admired through until the end,
feeling so tired.
Without expression, through confusion,
you become a product of the world's solutions.
Although in riches the world may see,
I see a child almost lost hopelessly.
When you hold the world in your hands,
you capture the world,
you follow your plan.

Dreamers dream, fantasies come true and some even die.
Before you even know, in the twinkling of an eye.
It's magic before you even think,
without a thought much less a blink.
From your joyous love and laughter,
I think of the living and the promise thereafter.
On a stage of life you dance,
pointing your fingers, directing the chance.
Gambling, hoping things to come true
just remember it's magic when I love you.
Our mother, our father try to lead the way
but we must stand up to them and decide our own fate.
No matter how much they think they are right,
only we know what's best, we must only fight.
It's magic when we sit in the dark,
gaze up at the stars and try to take flight.
Above the clouds I can see all of the magic that awaits for me.
