When the magic ends
and when your performances are all over with
I'll understand.
In ways, I wish you could do it forever,
but as you grow older,
whether we as your fans like it or not
you need to rest, to take life easier.
You've worked hard,
you've surpassed your goals,
you changed lives
and i don't care what anyone may say
you changed the world in so many ways.
You changed attitudes
and you touched many hearts both young and old.
as we all know, when the magic ends
your fans will remain close by and give their thanks,
even if it's twenty years in the future
we know you are only human
and can only do so much
that's when the magic ends.
Of not being able to see
your concerts whenever we can,
but Michael, we understand.
We love you so much.

When the world seems to be falling apart
and many beg to steal your heart
remember who loves you more each week
more than the week before.
When you are all alone remember,
I'm thinking of you knowing that you love me too.
Sometimes, I never say exactly how i feel,
so teach me how to express my pain, my joy, my life.
to love so much is to understand.
No matter who much you are as a guy or as a man,
because I'm here left standing looking on.
Deciding as to whether it is worth holding on to you,
or for you holding on to me.
I feel as though I'm a young child
yet waiting for permission to say, "I love you so much."

Love is within the songs you sing.
Seclusion is the price of fame.
Mobs of people surround your home
just to see you wave your hand back at them.
I can hear the sirens and the mobs of people
screaming so loud just at seeing a glimpse of your face.
When we hear the songs you sing
every adoring fan seems to understand
you hold the keys to love and inspiration
in your precious trembling hands.

Someday soon I will fall in love.
I know that I will meet someone somewhere
who will really care for the way I feel
and accept me for who I am or will be.
Someday soon I will find someone
who I can love and trust and enjoy being around.
for so long it seems as though
it's a fantasy that may never come true.
I cry sometimes from being so lonely
of wishing for a special friend
sometimes only living
waiting for that someday soon.

So many want to know the way i am.
Well personally I'm really very shy,
afraid of the public's glaring eyes,
afraid of pain, afraid of failure.
Afraid of losing my loved memorabilia.
I love my music, I love my "star".
I'm afraid of the dark,
afraid of being controlled by others
who think that I'm a robot
or some fun toy that they can play with.
I think the biggest fear I have is to talk on the telephone,
even to people who I do or do not know.
For some reason I am the way I am.
I really don't know why,
but sometimes I feel really shy
because that's just the way I am.

You persuaded me to believe in myself,
to go after goals and to do my best.
Many words I have tried to find
for that very special meaning
that you brought into my life.
You persuaded me to stay out of drugs,
you persuaded me to be an influence for others.
You encouraged me to write and to walk away
to stand tall when any fight came my way.

You and I must take this path,
we must keep our love in tact.
Wherever you may be
I'll be there for you.
I'll reach out gently with my love.
I'll keep caring for you the way I always do.
When you call my name I'll listen.
You and I must follow on,
we must keep right from wrong.
If there's a way I'll keep loving you everyday.
You and i are very close,
even though we know not of what the future holds.
we should never part
and break each other's heart
as long as you and I make the promises
we need to make about staying together.

I'm not alone,
I'm not afraid of things in life,
of unfair things.
I'll strive to be the best there is,
of knowledge and of truth,
also of life itself.
The things in which I believe in,
I stand behind.
I love people who love me
yet I never hate those who hate me.
I wish to inspire Michael someday
exactly as he did for me.
The excitement, the joy, the love,
the tears of encouragement and inspiration.
Sometimes he makes me feel
as though I can fly a million miles in my dreams.
I feel as though I am Peter Pan
and he's a young child
that I can take to a distant fantasy land
and help him to forget everything he wishes to.

I am living on borrowed time
of dreams and places
that I have never been or dreamed.
When I think of how fast times passes by
I think of the life I am now living on borrowed time.
Sometimes, I see a story about a baby or child
that died and wonder why it was not me
or someone who I could have known.
How is it decided as to who lives such a long life
to fulfill all of their wants or desires.
Never do I believe that we know the exact date or time,
lest we should set our own dates.
We are living on borrowed time.

The press, the hysteria, the fans,
are all out to get you in any way they can.
The press will write lies and make up things
to spice things up so they can sell your pains.
The hysteria from those whom want to touch you
and spend the day with you if they can.
Of never being able to go anywhere
because of the deep adulation of those who love you.
The fans shed their tears through many years
and become excited when you are publicly recognized for working hard,
for reaching to the sky, for setting an example for the whole world to see.
Michael you must remember the fans you love a lot, including me.

He works for the up most perfection.
With no flaws at all
no one musical note out of place,
neither of a back up singer's voice.
Not one iota of a mistake.
He's a perfectionist at heart
and in ways it's making him feel older.
One day it could even affect his perfection
in such a way as to where he will become
too tired to really care.
Indeed it would be no fault of his
for he has worked so hard as a child and as a man.
Almost too hard to enjoy
the rewards he receives when they are given.
I've seen the fatigue in his eyes and his sheer exhaustion
from being a perfectionist at heart.

For several years
you have been my success story.
By pictures and songs
I've watched you grow from a boy to a man.
I've seen your heartaches and watched the press
write truths and lies.
Altogether though,
does the press really know about the times
when you brought joy and excitement to people
who needed to feel some sort of love?
a role model who could set good examples for young children.
Many do not see the same things that I see.
They don't know your life,
and most of all they don't know how you really feel
although many people think they do.
Some think that their judgments are true,
but both you and I know
that much of what they say and write
are not true at all.
They will make up stories
which I think is so rude
because for many people
you are their success story.

You sing the sweetest melodies,
notes that portray every feeling, every emotion.
For hours on end, I see you in my mind
you hold a pen and notebook in your hand,
jotting down notes, humming new songs.
Making decisions as to which ones to expose
maybe not quite knowing the full capacity
that it has on people's lives,
of their expectations, of fears,
or of the days ahead
and of things they have to deal with.
I love you for spending so much time
to bring entertainment and joy to my life.

I can not think of a time when I wanted to be alone.
You were there when I was lonely or sad,
and even at times when I felt bad.
Those glorious moments,
the days when I could have cried from excitement.
I shouted your name many times
in hopes that you could hear and feel my emotions.
On many days I cry just dreaming of what it is like hugging you.
Even though you are not here physically
I can feel your hugs when I sit or stand still.
I'll smile and come back to the realization
of knowing that it was my imagination.
Yet, i love you Michael so much, I really care.
I would write a book so precious and meaningful
that it would take a hundred years to write if I could.
If that's what it would take to see you smile and say,
"Thanks" with a hug, a time to hold you for at least a minute or two,
to give me a chance to say, "Michael, I love you."
You've broken my heart. Right from the start
I knew that you were special.

The dreams that I dream at night
are made up of thoughts
that have lingered within myself for years.
One day, a special person helped me realize
that life was short and in order for me
to leave my mark on the world,
I should start thinking about the dreams of tomorrow.
Never linger on the past or of achievements
that you could have had, just think about the dreams of tomorrow.

At times in my life you gave me many ambitions,
goals and encouragement.
So badly, I wanted to begin making a change in myself.
I wanted to achieve so many things so that you could see it
and know that you made a difference in my life.
I'm now reaching to the sky for you.

The sun rises to give out its illustrious beauty.
It comes through the windows
to let the warmth and brightness shine
as though it was forever.
If beauty does not exist,
I can not express the grief and pain that people know
those who can not see the sun's beauty,
the colors of the sky.
I guess they'll have to wait until the end of time.

Are there really words to describe
a special kind of love for a man I do not know personally?
Does the whole world know about the happiness and joy
that you've brought into my life?
What you've done is not only expressed your love but also your life.
You and I both want to be the very best that we can be,
but what you've done is so strong, so real, so powerful.

You urged me to do things that I could only once dream of.
You helped me believe in myself.
The love you gave me was the kind of love that many would die for.
The day I believed in myself was the day that you came into my life.
When I was recognized for the things that I did,
I always made sure to give you the credit,
the unpaid thanks for the inspiration and encouragement that you gave me.
You were the one who taught me to believe in myself.

I love you always like I've never loved before.
You've given me so much, things I could never hope to repay.
I know that I love you forever and forever always.
Sometimes, I've wondered how you felt about me,
but when you held me close,
I knew right then that you were meant for me.
I love you always.

I'm so very gracious to you for everything you ever do.
I know you fall asleep from exhaustion
while singing and maybe even while writing a song for me.
How can it be that you do not know my name
yet, you work so hard to please?

I couldn't just love anybody who said that they loved me.
I won't believe everybody who says he want to be with me.
You have got to prove yourself, not worthy
but as a person who can be a real friend,
someone I can rely on and tell secrets to when I need him.

I'm glad that you are the type of guy
who will listen, understand, and love me.
I cherish the moments when you say
that you love me because I know you really mean it.
There are times when I wish
that I could hold you for hours on end
and just look into your eyes.
I've never been with anyone
who would let me get close to them
like knowing them personally or being everlasting.
Every relationship is different
no matter how many people you may love in your life
everyone is unique in their own way.
I don't know the true meaning of closeness
but I know that when you love someone, like I love you.
I know deep inside myself that you were definitely meant for me,
you're everlasting as a friend.
I'll never ask you to do anything that you are unsure of
or that you feel is not right, no matter what it is.

Thanks ain't thanks enough when I want to return my love.
All day and night it bothered me,
how would I be able to know if I've inspired you,
how would you feel?
would the inspiration that I try to bring out reach your heart,
would it pass by like the winds or touch others as well, like it does for me.
Thanks ain't thanks enough
when I am so inexperienced and so unaware
of how much work it really takes
to make a difference in someone's life
or by the way they may feel or have something to believe in.

Yesterday, I received a dozen roses from you.
The tears ran down my face,
not from sadness but from pure joy
of finally finding someone who I can really love
for the rest of my life.
As the weeks passed by,
I noticed how the roses died;
yet our love still survived for many years
on through until old age captured us both
and a dozen roses were placed on our graves.
