All of my life I have been searching
for your kind of love.
I know you're out there,
never giving up.
Each day when I awake,
I feel your presence,
even many times in my sleep.
Always, I'm hoping
to capture your face so when I see you,
I will then know you're the one for me.
So many dreams,
all of my life I have wished
for things to come true.
That's when I always wish
to be with you.
Whoever you are,
I'll still be searching.
No matter how long it takes,
even if it's all of my life.

Cast in the shadow of darkness,
soaked in bed pillow tears.
Grasping for air to breath,
why is this lonely feeling this way?
Why do people go their merry way?
For when I'm needing a friend
to be faithful and true,
there's no one there for me
to tell me things are okay.
I'm just a face in the crowd.
No one to tell me how
things can be for you, for me.
Grasping, holding onto a close friend,
almost as though
they had died and come back to life.

I really don't know how many times
I've told you how much I love you.
You walk around as though you really don't care
and you expect me to trust you.
Well now, it's time for your messages to end.
It's time for you to leave me here again.
Ain't no way that it can work out.
I think you know that the good in us must go.
So many times, I've wanted the perfect romance.
I even took the risk of loving you,
but I still don't stand a chance.
Things don't change no matter how much I want them to.
How can I stand to be here alone again?
How fair is it to rely on false lives?
One minute, you're so devoted,
yet other times you act like I'm not there.
My love doesn't matter to you
until you start looking for someone else
then your romance fails.
Expect to come back to me,
I see those bad messages you bring to me.
I'm treated like second hand garbage,
yet better than nothing.
Well, not this time.

So many perfect days wishing to hold them always.
Birds singing, flying all around.
Flowers blooming, soft sweet smiles.
Wishes, hopes, dreams this day
very little do I say.
Hopes, ambitions, turning life around,
holding dreams so carefully,
so afraid of losing those perfect days.

Many patterns in the sky.
Long lived lifetimes that go by.
Astronomical happenings,
lights flickering up high.
Counting stars, naming a few,
drawing lines with an imagination,
yet so much is given.
Patterns, designs, never the same size.
Some stars that are now dead
yet after giving back it's reflection
in the years that it had lived.
An endless galaxy with no end,
actually no top or bottom to it.

Love me forever,
look into my eyes and tell me that you care.
If I had to do it all again,
of meeting you and putting my trust in you my friend.
I will do it again and again.
Forever passion, forever true,
I'm forever in love with you.

Standing here alone again,
not at all like I thought that I would be.
Hopeless standing lies, never trusting friends.
Sad cases of betrayal hard times just a short way ahead.
Was it not you who said, "Trust me," yet you did me that way.
Now, it's just roses and thorns.

All through the night,
I sleep restlessly
trying to figure out a way to achieve,
must have something to do
by starting with me.
Tossing and turning,
haunting dreams,
sometimes it seems as though
I know subconsciously all along.
Gangs in the street trying to start blood fights,
dare not to try to get involved at all.
Scrambling worthlessly over territory
that doesn't belong to them anyway.
Just makes them look good,
dare I think or say.
Why waste your time,
you know it's a crime.
Night ladies dressed in short miniskirts
or practically nothing at all.
Out to make what they call an honest living.
Here I am working so hard,
barely making ends meet.
Tell me will it ever end.
By starting with me in time,
I'll see the best life has to offer.

My jewel, my pearl,
I'd give you the whole wide world.
Endless passion, endless life,
my special pearl, all I love for in life.
One of the things I've wanted to do,
my only wish is to be with you.
My pearl, my love, my dreams,
I live for only you it seems.
I've told you of my feelings and thoughts,
forever wishing to hold you all night.
My pearl, my love for you
worth more than all the money in the world.

Sometimes, I just want to be with you.
When the time is right,
we'll be together forever.

When you talk, I listen.
I'm always here for you taking in the good and bad.
Majority of your conversations are so very sad.
Those tears I shed are for you.
I'd feel your emotions within if I could.

I remember our very first dance,
a time with so much love and romance.
Hugging, holding, squeezing you tight,
letting you know that you were mine.
Now, as I think of you,
you came in this dimly lit room.
Amazed at your beautiful and sexy way,
I'll kiss you passionately in a suggestive way.
then i'll put you next to me,
we'll hold each other so very closely.
We will dance all night long
and sing our very favorite songs.
A single couple alone on the dance floor,
moving so slowly as though will always be more.
Telling each other secrets,
never letting on,
able to speak of the past
and never getting angry, tired, or bored.
Always dreaming, always true,
always in love with you.

She's living a life full of dreams.
So full of promises, of things to never be.
Many activities, many things
always busy with such realistic things.

Don't have to be like your mother, not even like your friend.
Don't have to be like your brother, or like the one who you grew up with.
Doesn't really matter how emotionally strong you are,
for deep inside you always have known where your weakest points are.

I see those tears coming out of your eyes.
When it comes to love, we both pay the price.
I know you'll never leave me
because we both have a reason.
Our glorious relationship,
no matter how easy or difficult things become.
Miracles happen every day
and I know one thing that's forever true,
and that's the way I feel and love you.
so take my hand,
let me be a woman
so that we can both have a way
to stay so very close.
Please don't ever leave,
I'm begging you, love me forever and ever.

Tomorrow will be better than the day before.
I will no longer hurt anymore.
I may have cried today but so likely am I to say, "No way."

Love has no boundaries,
love has so very few pain,
for when I'm with you,
I feel no shame.
Love far beyond measure,
no temptations ahead,
always here for you,
day or night, no matter when.
I'll be by your side to protect you
and if necessary will give my life for you.
With guidance of direction,
time may just stand still.
Heartbeats so closely matched,
with your love, I'm so very much attached.

Telling you of the wonderful feelings I have inside,

You're so special to me,

Maybe these very few days
of separation in our lives will draw us closer together
despite a few clouds of stormy weather.
Yet, I can always know that upon my return

I have so many wonderful memories of when we first met.
I will never forget the love and passion that we once had.
Loyal was I to you, yet I was so unsure of what you were up to.
Sorry, I couldn't believe. Maybe I have been hurt too much emotionally.
Unable to control feelings, often becoming lost,
losing my identity and a lot of beautiful thoughts.
So many good memories pushed in the back of my mind,
afraid of being hurt or used,
hope you have wonderful memories of me too.
Of all the things that we both have shared,
at times I feel as though you cared.
I will always treasure each and every moment with you.
I just hope that you can too, so at least we can have memories.

Love will find the way even if things don't seem to go your way.
No matter how or when, someone will love you. They will always be there.
Time and time again, I've searched to find a friend,
so many miles traveled never giving up.
How can you be so far away,
no matter what I do or say, it takes time night and day.
I know your love will show at a time when I need to know.
With loneliness or despair, your love found none elsewhere.
Capturing pictures of you and everything you do.
Always remembering that love will find the way.

From the very first moment when I met you,
I knew that I loved you so much.
The compassion we have within is so very special.
It is something that we have always cherished.
We are bound forever by our heart treasures.

This little child that I so very well know
has her own little ideas.
Of how the famous live and become superstars.
Turning pages of magazines and books,
she tells her own stories of what she sees,
yet not knowing that the famous are also human beings.
Excitedly, she begins by describing their life to be glamorous,
of always relaxing and having so much fun.
They get their attention from limousines and maids,
all in their humongous mansions of sitting back and watching T.V>
Getting to meet other famous people,
dressed up in expensive clothes and jewelry.
Going on tour, traveling and being so much crazed.
After meeting a "star" one day, her ideas most definitely changed.
Her role model tells her of how it really is
and he finds her so shocked and amazed.
"It's not all that it seems to be" he admits,
"there's no privacy, so many rumors and lies,
hurting so many people, going into a room and crying.
Being so afraid of the people outside at the gates,
locked up like a prisoner in his own home,
being lonely, feeling so cold.
Competition at being the best,
to remain in the limelight, to have success.
So long, hard hours on the job,
working for perfection,
not much time at home to spend with family or friends,
always being tired, rarely ever having time to rest.
Mob scenes, being hurt or killed.
Always having to look beautiful and happy outwardly,
when on the inside, you're really dying and wishing for a regular life,
of having peace and quiet."

Are you confusing dreams with reality?
You keep looking out your window
as though you're waiting for someone.
Tell em someone will be here soon.
A prince out of your dreams,
when in reality it may never be.
For hours, I sit and listen to your love stories.
With your descriptions,
at times I feel a fringe of jealously go through me.
Then I remember that in real life,
it's virtually impossible for someone
to meet the qualifications that you expect.
Think again come back to reality
and realize that dreams and things
are not the total fulfillment of life.
What you've really got
is yourself and love from others.
That in itself is enough.

There are so many girls, but so few princesses.
Each in their own ways of being children.
Several playing with their toys, others pretending to be little boys.

The reflections of the way in which I see you,
I often wonder as to what I should do.
Trying to relieve those lost memories
gently tucked in the back of my mind.
No matter what I do, my love will always be true.
Sometimes so far away,
yet we both know that love will go our way.

I met you not so long ago,
you were the best friend who treated me like gold.
We went together sharing all of our inner secrets
sticking together in our weakness.
In debt to you, I'd give my life for you.
always there with no passion or pride,
so many times, you were my only guide.
Experiences together through all kinds of weather,
even on rainy days.
Those were our happiest moments.
