In the sunshine,
I'll be lying outside in the summertime
listening to the birds singing,
holding on to my dreams.
Awakening to a new day,
waiting for things to happen my way.
Singing new songs,
hearing the words touch nature.
Being me, being free.
Learning how to survive
smiling at my favorite pictures.

Here we are all alone
basing our friendship on what we know.
Special friends telling secrets,
laughing at those awkward times
when we thought our whole world ended.
No taking notice of our options,
really not knowing there were open doors
with so many things to explore.
Wasted dreams, wasted lives,
not willing to take a chance,
gambling everything for something better.
Yet, we're still friends.
Had we of never met,
our special times, our special lives,
I shall never forget.
We held each other so closely,
expressing our feelings in an unconditional way.
Still holding on so very tight,
with ever muscle I could find.
We're still special friends.

I looked out of my window today
just thinking of you
and of the painful things that you had said.
I'm always wondering why I still love you.
Really, I don't know why.
Maybe, I'm confusing loneliness
with the past and of how my life used to be.
Maybe I'm afraid of the future in some way.
When I think of how things were when we first met,
I relive every single moment.
We used to laugh and cry,
made plans together,
even in such rainy weather.
I know you have some very special friends,
but really, can your friends give you what I can?
Well, maybe I don't have friends like you,
but my friend will always be loyal and true.
When I need someone to comfort me, he's there.
No matter when or what condition I'm in
I never have to ask or be,
never having to forgive the past.
If it comes down to the line
as to what friend I want to call mine,
you can take your friends and I'll take mine.

Truly I love you and I need you,
so desperately love you my love, my true love.
I'm here for you, I'll never leave you.
Truly I will do anything for you.
Truly I am loyal, always a friend, never lying.
Holding what's so dear and true,
always loving you.
Truly, I'll be here for you,
ready to listen to what you have to say
at any time of the day.

Every time I love to hold you in my arms,
I am so fulfilled.
Always hoping for the clock to slow down
so we can be together longer and throw away our fears.
If you hold me, I'll love you too.
If you please me, I'll give my life for you.
Whenever or whatever decisions you make,
I'll gamble that it's the best each day.
Unable to know the impact in our lives,
we'll follow the answers by the strings and guidelines.

Tearing at my heart with an endless passion.
Left here alone to die thrashing.
"What is there left in life?" I say,
"you tore at my heart practically every day.
I try to think of no more crying, no more tears,
I have now conquered all of my individual fears.
Tested by time, I've been built up by life and of the living."
I remember holding you tenderly in my arms.
I smiled at you with all this passion
with thoughts of you within my heart.
You talked of loneliness,
you talked of fear,
but when I was finally able to cry,
you were there holding me in your arms.
You said, "I'm sorry,
I made a mistake, left you,
thought I was actually ruining your love for me.
It was so crazy of me not to see
how much you so very truly loved me."
I know I haven't yet told you
when you so surprisingly walk onto the scene,
your mere presence takes all of life's breath from me.
I still so very much love you.
If there was a way somehow,
I'd take you so close to me
and kiss you and you would kiss me.
While crying, I think of what may or could have been.
And you know, we had our whole lifetime to spend our love with.
For the entire time when we were together,
even when we first met,
I always felt as though our love was forever true
and meant to be eternally kept.
For a few brief moments in your life,
you gave up me, you gave up every single thing we could of had.
I break into tears, almost at the mentioning of your name.
I love you so much and will always.
Now, I'm standing on "fantasy"
dreams of being me, of being free.
This price that you may think you deeply will pay,
what about me, what about my dreams.
What about my living days.
As I find myself setting goals and dreams,
I'm trying to find a way to involve every single minute of my life.
Strange as it may seem or be,
actually I'm hiding from what pain my heart
does not want to feel or see.
Plan to be so busy,
going to do this, this and that,
hopefully I won't break down
and cry over losing you at the falling of a hat.
Yes, i could go back to you if I tried,
but things would never be or feel the same way.
There are so many times
when I wish that this was only a dream.
Even if I was in a coma
and had slept a few months or even a year away.
If only I could wake up
and find you there with my hand in yours saying,
"It's okay, I'm here, I love you, it was only a dream.
I promise I will never leave you for we're now engaged."

Red rose petals, green stems, white flowers,
white carnations, pink, yellow, white beautiful flowers.
Wild flowers of all colors and designs,
each in their magnificent colors covering the forests and yards.

I can only give you my love, tenderness and feelings,
turning loneliness and such strong feelings into emotions.
when you stepped into my room,
chills ran down my spine.
I looked so closely into your eyes
depicting your whole life story
of how your family abandoned you.
Sadly, I held you in my arms.
Tender and gentle, I hold you close to me.
Taking away your pain.
I don't want to fall by the wayside,
catching heartache and pain.
I don't want to love and lose again.
Stand here close to me,
you'll find a warm passion here.
I can only love you.

With or without you,
I'll find my own dreams,
will achieve,
seek and find my true identity.
With or without you,
I'll make my own life,
through all of my troubles,
I know I will find a real friend,
someone who I can love,
trust and put my faith in.
With or without you,
I can survive.
I've already been through loneliness and fears,
shed so many uncounted tears,
haven't felt so alone before
but this time you're not coming back through the door.

Inspirations I receive from you,
gracefully distributing so much love and magic.
Kisses I would love to return,
along with giving you the knowledge
of how much I love you.

I'm anonymous to you,
someone who you've never yet met,
but someone who loves you so much.
One among so many millions of people laughing,
holding hands, shouting your name.
I see you staring out your hotel window waving to me.
My eyes blur from so many tears.
I wipe my eyes for at last I saw you.
a friend of ine returns with a dozen roses.
Joyfully she gives them to me smiling,
knowing I have a single chance to give them to you personally.
Casually going to your room, i knock on your door.
Suddenly, i see you standing so shocked and amazed,
then asking as to how I found you were here.
I replied with a big smile,
"Anonymously, I followed you around the world.
by the way, these roses are for you.
Just to let you know that I love you."
You gave me a big smile and said,
"Thanks, than you very much."
I gave you a big hug then turned and walked away.
To me, that was my greatest day!

Walking in the midnight streets,
never knowing who you'll meet,
pavement, sidewalks, closed up stores.
Vagrant in the dark corner begging for a hopeful quarter.
Will you pass him by?
Or will you rather act so shy and pretend he's not there.
Never glancing at his clothes or shoes,
tell me will you lend him a helping hand,
give him something to eat again.
Will you be his friend?
Desperately needing a place to stay,
always hoping for a job one day.
Asking for help, yet with no experience,
will he in your eyes be a hindrance?
With the whole world passing by,
just notice the tears of loneliness
and abandonment in his eyes.
Tell me, will you pass him by?

The only way I can love you
is for you to hold me close.
Please always cherish and fulfill all of my hopes.
Dreams I share with you,
never letting you down,
reaching out, very few times falling down.
Tenderly taking you in my arms,
building dreams on the things we fantasized about,
knowing all along, even if it was wrong.
We may never see the true identity of you or me.
The only way I can see
is for you to always and forever love and hold me.
Take into consideration of this life that we have so far shared.
Together we've been never once cheating
or breaking each other's heart,
holding each other together like glue,
knowing in reality of how much I mean to you.
Never taking for granted our enjoyments in life,
throughout our struggles and srife,
we both cried and laughed out our pains,
hopes and fears of always holding you forever near.

There's such a demand for survival,
such a heartache upon arrival.
should I ever need a friend,
I'll choose you for every occasion.
Never having doubts, never having fears,
I choose you for protection from my tears.
During my disastrous moments
when I sit and do nothing but cry,
my eyes fill with so much confusion,
so much heartache and pain inside.
So very tender and easy to upset.
I know that all I really want
is this one chance to get a second glance.
When i hold you so closely in my arms
all I really want is to explain to you
of how much I love you.
For so very long you've given me hopes and dreams
in this beautiful lifetime wondrous fantasies.
No one seems to understand
that I don't demand much
and that i can extend my loving hand.
One day I'd really love to prove every one wrong
and to be able to comprehend how you
so magically gave me so many precious things and songs.
All I really want is to thank you.

Lord, thank you for these special inspirations.
Lord remember me when I'm in pain.
I've got these strange sensations of laughing and crying
when my friends are not with me.
I've got no special place to go or be,
please God remember me.
When those around me don't believe
in what I want to one day achieve.
I can soon know that I will be able
to one day laugh in their face and say,
"I told you so" just because I believed in me.

Mr. Jackson, will you be there
to walk with me down Memory Lane?
There's this crazy feeling
I have inside for dancing all of the days of my life.
I will always remember many of the unbelieving things
that people did say.
"Will never achieve, will never have the reality of dreams."
Mr. Jackson, when bathed in my anguish and pain
and I have no where else to go,
I know you will always be there for me.
Just know that I love you so.
With so many temptations facing me
how can I always say
that I'll never make a mistake in my life,
yet I will always do my best to be free, to do as I please.
After all of these years of hope
I see all of my dreams within sight, within reach.
That's how i always know that when I one day look back
we can laugh over our long journey to Memory Lane.

God, whenever I achieve all of my dreams
and remember all of the tears that have been shed,
remind me that these were the things
I had once could only dream of and cry over.
Yet, with every single tear,
there was a special presence of a man
who inspired me through all of my teenager years.
I placed my hopes and dreams on what I felt was a true reality.
In my ideal life there's nothing wrong with fantasy,
nothing wrong with loving someone so far away,
for I'm only being me and myself every single day.
The true me, my real identity.
I found the real me because of a special man
who taught me a freedom I had never known.
I had found an inner strength to succeed and achieve.
Now this walk down Memory Lane
is of all the dreams that I had and could have only dreamed.

Even though you told me
that we had forever to make up for lost time
I remember how when it came down
to the last moments together
as how we would embrace each other
and make a promise to seeing each other again.
Now it has been years ago since I last held you
and I'm wondering where did all those days go by.
I'm probably setting some crazy dreams,
maybe even risking my life at times
but at least I'm fulfilling my inner soul within.
I'm not crying anymore,
even though you may have slammed the door in my face,
we met at the wrong time and place.
If I had to do it all over again,
I'm not sure that i would.
For there was much heartache and pain,
confusion through it all, I was conditioned to fall.
As I now look at that long and winding road that I've traveled,
I didn't know it would be such a battle.
Losing you was the most painful experience.
Love can hurt so bad for it has no sympathy
for those who think they can endure it.

Beautiful stars, sky up above,
I've often wondered, "Where is my love?"
Tenderness, loving, beauty within.
I so very much love this man
that practically so many other girls want to be with.
When the clouds pass over the nation
and then hide the sun's rays, sometimes I wonder,
"Did my love walk under you too on such a beautiful day?"
Tears upon my pillow, for in desperation I cry,
"Will I ever be able to meet this very special guy?"
I see dreams coming true for other people,
so there seems to be nothing left for me.
For years, I have hoped that each day,
one day, Michael Jackson could meet and hold me to tenderly.
I've ached so long for his passion.
Yes! So very much for his tender loving care,
each moment, each second, wishing I was there.
When that magical moment arrives
when I am his and he is mine,
oh, how I will love and hold him so dear.
Promising to always stay so near.
Never to be so far away, for at his place,
this I will stay always in time.
and when that magical moment must end,
I will then promise to always be his friend.
Writing to him often for I will never be far away.
Never again will I ever cease to fail
to keep in contact even if only by mail.

Star lit moon, star lit sky,
thriving on anguish and pain,
lady of the star's delight.
Bound in an inner web of darkness,
pain and passion you will soon find
even though there may be a guiding force,
or a lucky star within reach or sight.
You won't know who or where you really are.
Picture flames burning your skin,
believe me, what you take is no gem,
for it's slowly destroying your brain each day, each second.
Patterns of confusion, patterns of fate,
do you really know who's soul this drug will soon take?
Although you may be laughing and say,
"No, not me," someone is overlooking
waiting for you to comply with its destiny.
The deadly claws of society and pressure from friends,
could they really be your death in the end?
Sharp razor claws waiting for you to make a move,
either way you go there's no way out you fool.
Captured within your hands
is the secret for forgetting all things
and living in a perfect temporary world
where all troubles subside and hide away
until you come off of your "high."
Tell me secrets oh long dark friend.
I'm soon passing onward my possession
to other time and time again.

Why must we talk to strangers?
Why must it be that way?
At times we feel as though words will be a strain
So many occasions society has taught us
to say something to a stranger.
Even though the same two may never again walk in the same paths.
One in ten million chances of becoming a friend,
such a rare event to begin with.
Such an uneasy feeling.

I see the passion burning inside of you
until the moment when I begin making promises.
Suddenly you turn away, crying so silently to yourself.
When I try to speak to you all I can hear you say is
"Leave me alone for a while."
For a short length of time after believing
I did or said something wrong you respond coldly,
"It's nothing, it's just a memory of a sad moment in my life".
I know I don't have to unravel your entire biography
for I know you so very deeply loved the woman before me.
There's nothing wrong about passion or love for if shared equally,
you'll have what the entire world is looking for and wants.
After a short length of time.
I gently wrap my arms around you in reply
with words of that I will give you as much time
as it takes to overcome your obstacles
so we can be close together
and not far apart in possibly making a big mistake.

This choice is yours to make in life
everything you've always wanted,
everything you feel is right.
Hoping to reach your so long lived for dreams
and when it finally comes true.
Maybe this is what's so very right for you.
This choice is yours
even if things always seem to go
in the wrong direction.
I'm sure you'll find a new life,
the best correction.
Because this choice is yours
to make the best of everything
for what you now have or one day hope to be.
I'm still going to be the same me
as I could ever hope to be.
Only age can separate us
from who we once were
but my eyes still see the real me.

Yesterday, we departed from each other.
It's so sad that we can't love each other forever.
Time heals wounds, love endures.
Though we can not stand this pain,
it will soon go away.
How am I to say the side of you,
you don't show to others
is of both love and pain.
In these bitter tears, I'm all alone.

I'm only human and sometimes it seems
my success and failures overpower me.
How is it that I can not explain what I feel,
this sensational feeling overcoming me.
in the power of your dreams
that appears so very bright,
what you're now going through
is only short lasting for now it's alright.
Unable to cry over things unchanged
and things to soon occur,
how can I make it so beautiful
and maybe as I have dreamed?
In the power of your dreams,
your subconscious knows what's right.
Follow every step of the way
because in this I must say
that in the end you'll agree.
You know what's right for you
and I know what's right for me.

Wrapped so softly in your arms
you held me for hours on end.
"Understanding," you said,
"will hold us together,
such a beautiful feeling I have for you."
Carry me across the deep waters,
protect me during rough times.
This wonderful feeling that I have for you
will be long lasting, forever true.
Capture these emotions,
hold them within your heart.
I promise to listen and understand,
for all of the things I know about you
captures such a breath taking picture of love,
of passion, of truth.
This beautiful feeling I have for you.

For a moment a stranger came into my life,
he was almost like someone I have for so long been looking for.
When I told him of how I have been a writer for several years
he seemed so very much to understand as to where I was seeking to be.
We exchanged our tastes in music.
When I asked him what kind of music he listened to he replied,
"The Cure" and among others as well, you know.
I try to find music that no one else will listen to."
I smiled because I knew exactly where he was coming from.
In response to the same question I replied,
"I listen to Michael Jackson."
He asked, "Is that all you listen to?
For I don't see how you can stand hearing the same music over and over.
It's something I won't do."
I told him it's been eight years now since I found my favorite star.
I wouldn't trade him for any other, he's my whole life, all that I live for."
That very night when I showed him the poems that I had,
his eyes lit up in amazement, for he couldn't believe that I was so devoted.
For a moment, I had a temporary friend, someone who accepted me for who I really am.
